We are an independent games studio which specialises in Point and Click Adventure Games.

History

Greenlight

As of Monday 16th January we have put Bayou Island up on Steam Greenlight. This is our first ever release going into Steam Greenlight and it's all rather exciting. We have spent the past year and a half building Bayou Island and we aim to be finished by March 2017 (this year). We are currently just finishing off the second half of the game. Everything is all wired up and puzzles are complete and working. We are just waiting for finalised artwork and animations. We are also looking into getting voice acting for the game as our game code supports this. We hope that we are Greenlit by March so that we can roll out the game almost immediately. We hope by being on Steam we can gain more exposure for our Point and Click games.

Description

Make your way through this thrilling old school style point and click adventure game and try to solve the mysterious circumstances plaguing Bayou Island. Help an unknown captain make his way through the mysterious Bayou Island and try to find a way back to his ship. Solve the various puzzles and talk with the island's inhabitants to uncover what is really going on. But is something sinister afoot? Who is telling the truth? Who can you really trust? Using your logic is the only way you're going to win. This has been made with the love and inspiration of the point and click adventure games of the 90s.

History

We've always been interested in Point and Click Adventure games for a very long time and wondered how difficult it would be to build an engine. It took over a year but we managed to make one. In terms of art direction we know what works and an art style we were always impressed with was in the cartoon series "Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated" (rather fitting for the spooky nature of the game). We managed to find an artist by the name of John Joven who painted a very similar style and we have worked with him ever since on a freelance basis. We have also worked with our musiciain Giovanni for a number of years now who time and time again produces incredible original soundtracks for the different locations of Bayou Island.
